Programs for Kids

Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  Matthew 19:14 (ESV)

All of our programs are fun, interactive and feature opportunities for kids to get to know the one who loves them the most - Jesus. Most programs feature visualized Bible stories, engaging memory verses, action-packed songs, and engaging missionary stories.

All of our programs are led by local Christian adults or older teens who are concerned for the spiritual well-being of your children. These leaders have received intensive, specialized training from Child Evangelism Fellowship® and must complete a background check/reference check.

All of our programs teach:

  • Respect for Authority
  • Moral Values
  • Character Qualities

Good News Club

Good News Club® is a ministry to Children by trained teachers who meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, and churches – just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parents’ permission.

This action-packed time includes songs, Scripture memory, and an interactive Bible story that encourages active participation. A mission’s story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme further engage the children in the learning process, pointing them to their need for a Saviour.

Camp Good News

Camp Good News exists to help young people (ages 6–12) come to know and love the Lord as their Savior and to grow in their relationship with Him—all while having fun through games, activities, and learning the theme of the week.

The Fargo–Moorhead chapter hosts six weeks of day camp throughout the Fargo–Moorhead area each summer. In addition, the state oversees one week of overnight camp at Camp Joy in Dent, Minnesota. Learn more about our plans to expand overnight camp below.

Go Clubs

Go Club is like a traveling Vacation Bible School (for children ages four to twelve ) in your own backyard or living room or church. The benefit is that children who would not otherwise attend a church VBS will attend a neighbor’s or friend’s Go Camp. Go camp is an exciting, fun-filled one to two hours held each day for five consecutive days. Hosts are needed for this vital ministry

The host/hostess:

  • Invites kids (from the neighborhood, from school or extracurricular activities, from family, from church, etc);
  • Provides snack.
  • Provides additional adult or teen supervision to help guide kids through activities lead by CEF staff.

CEF or Camp Good News on the Go will provide:

  • the staff*;
  • the fun;
  • the truth.

*Trained teens and young adults with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) facilitate and lead Go Camp.

Good News Party Clubs

These one-time clubs can meet anywhere you can gather a group of kids. These action packed clubs can happen at:

  • Christmas;
  • Easter;
  • Valentine's Day
  • Fall Parties
  • Soccer Party
  • Other Events.

These clubs last for 60-75 minutes, focusing the children on the real reason for any holiday: to focus on what Jesus has done for us. Churches, homes, and daycares can be great places for these clubs to happen. Hosts needed for these vital clubs to happen.
