Our first ever CEF North Dakota Family Retreat was November 14-16, 2014 at Cooperstown Bible Camp. This was a gathering for all board/committee members and staff from across our growing and changing state.

We were very blessed to have Pastor Steve DeWitt joining us as our Bible teacher.  You can learn more about Steve by going to his blog here . Steve took us through a study on the Trinity, and his deep exegetical teaching was a great encouragement to us all.  Steve also blessed us by bringing his wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Kiralie.

Ben Vinje, Assistant State Director, led retreat attendees through sessions on “Serving on the CEF Committee with Excellence”.  Ben’s primary role in CEF is director of education, and his statewide teacher training sessions have been a blessing to our local chapters’ many volunteers and staff.

Todd Erickson, State Director, led worship and prayer sessions throughout the retreat.  Todd’s vision for building the staff statewide through prayerful strategic planning is often shared during his travels across the state.  Todd also shared the vision for all of CEF of North Dakota and what that can look like for each of the local chapters.

We feel led to continue gathering together with the entire North Dakota CEF family, so when our next retreat is set we will let all know.  If you are interested in joining up with a local committee in prayerfully guiding this exciting ministry in your area, please contact Todd at 701-339-8417 or at toddandkim@ndcef.com.
